I keep coming back to read this story again, and it makes me smile every time. Even at two years old, Arthur is still so recognisably himself, and particularly with his blithe possessiveness over Hunith and Merlin. I love the image of Arthur hitting another child on the basis that he's the only one that's allowed to make Merlin miserable - and also the idea that Merlin's magic is an open secret in the castle, because, yes, I can't imagine him not having magical accidents all over the place until he's old enough to realise why he needs better control over not using it!
*grins innocently* If you ever feel like filling in the blanks and writing more about Merlin and Arthur's adventures in growing up, feel free! I'd love to read them!
Author's Response: I can't imagine him not having magical accidents all over the place until he's old enough to realise why he needs better control over not using it! Poor Uther thinks now and then that half the castle is going absolutely mad. ;P ♥ ♥

There's no other word to describe the feeling this fic leaves me with. We feel very much the same thing that Hunith feels as she looks down at her boys: the satisfaction of a happy ending. Of everything being as they should be.
Author's Response: That's exactly the warm and fuzzies I was going for so I'm very glad that's what you took away from it! :)
